In July 2018 I went out on the road with up-and-coming pop singer Starley, as she supported Katy Perry on the Witness stadium tour.

I joined the tour in Adelaide for three shows, then onto Melbourne for three more shows and finally one last show in Sydney.

Starley was a excellent human, fun, positive, silly and a total professional. Observing her process was super interesting - her own personal standards were incredibly high and she pushed herself every night to put on the best show of her life.

Also seeing the scale of production that Katy Perry brings to every stadium was mind blowing. 26 semi trailers chock-filled with staging equipment, lights, props, costumes, puppets, rigging, sound gear and all the stuff that creates the kind of spectacle that is a Katy Perry stadium show.

The tour was a fantastic experience. These are some of my favorite Starley photos from those few weeks.
